Ana Luisa Quintero 92, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Greenwood Village South,Greenwood,IN. She was surrounded by her loving children.
Born March 7, 1926 in Santurce, Puerto Rico.
Ana, lived in Puerto Rico, New York, Florida, California and Indiana.
In 1989, she retired from U.C Berkeley CA, in the Financial Aid office after 15 years.
After her retirement she moved to Florida for 5 years, and then to Sunnyvale CA where she resided at Life’s Gardens for 20 years. In 2014 she moved to Indiana to live with her daughter,Evelyn. 2016 she became a resident at G.V.S.
Ana was preceded in death by her parents Roberto Quintero, 1888-1960 and Monserrate Bigio Quintero,1899-1939, also her siblings, Wincho, Manolo,1927-1972, Jose,1922-2003 and Nati,1920-2017.
She is survived by her 4 children, Evelyn Santiago Cox,IN, David Sanitago Jr.Ca., Robert Santiago, CA (wife: Angel Santiago) and Diana Ripoll Kirkbride, IN. (husband: Jon Kirkbride)
4 Grand Children, Xangelo Santiago,TX, Juan Estrella, NY, Jessica Cox,IN and Mycol Estrella,IN.
4 Great Grand Children, Benjamin Myer, Tristan Cox, Ichiro and Myumi Santiago.
Ana is also survived by her Sister Carmen Chaves of Manteca CA and Brother Augustin Quintero of Carson City CA and several nieces and nephews.
Ana led a very full life that was filled with family and close friends. She enjoyed music, dancing, novelas and going to church. She was known for being a wonderful cook and never letting you leave the house hungry.
Celebration of life was held at G.V.S Chapel for immediate family, on Tuesday, July 24, 2018.
